We have been home 2 days from our wonderful Spring Break trip and it’s officially GO TIME. This is performance week for Libs and our world won’t be calm and collected until about 10 pm on Saturday night. It will all be worth it, but it’s going to be a whirlwind of a few days.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you hold it all together!!!
I took a few days off from writing to focus on the rest of our Spring Break. I got to see ALL FOUR of my kiddos AT THE SAME TIME! It was WONDERFUL! There is truly no other place in the world I’d rather be than with them. And although we all parted ways again yesterday afternoon, I’m still feeling the joy that came from being together.
Well, I hope you all have day where your heart is happy!!!
Today was a great day. I always get into the kitchen on St. Patrick’s Day, experimenting with new recipes. It is one of my absolute favorite things to do! But on top of that, my son George came home today for Spring Break. I was so excited to see him after two months, I could BURST! It was one of those days where I caught myself smiling a few times, knowing that life is good and that I’m pretty darn happy. This day and all it included left me feeling exactly how you should feel on St. Patrick’s Day.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you feel LUCKY!!!
My son George went to dinner with us last night. He drove over from the university in yucky traffic to spend a few hours with us. He was home about two weeks ago for his Spring Break. But honestly, it doesn’t matter if I have recently seen my college kids. I miss them so quickly after a visit it’s insane! And because George knows that, he made sure he saw us. What a great kid!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you see a sight for sore eyes!!!
Today we start the second part of our Spring Break. Yippie!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you go up up and away!!!
Three days into our Spring Break and I can say that it’s already been a ton of fun. It’s been wonderful hanging out with my sweet girls and spending time with our family … with NO time constraints. We have spent our days doing everything and nothing, HA! Normal bedtimes are out the window. Routines, ditched. Sleeping in, a must. Laughter and laziness, a given. I absolutely LOVE IT!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you get exactly what you needed!!!
I realize I’m a mom now and that I’m almost 50 years old but there is an excitement that still comes over me this time of year. It’s wonderful to get a breather from school and our normal routine to relax and just go have some FUN! OK, OK fine … perhaps the fond memories of college still rear their notorious little heads. HA!
Well, I hope you all get to start SPRING FREAKIN’ BREAK!!!
