Smooth sailing …

Have you ever had a day where you just glided through it? One of those days when everything went calmly and without even a ripple? Well, today I am having one of those days. I woke up energized, had an easy run and enjoyed yoga immensely. I got my housework done quickly and then I was able to purchase some things that I wanted at a Young Living Essential Oil flash sale before they ran out. I breezed in and out of my car dealership picking up my car in less than 10 minutes. I had no traffic heading out to meet my cousin and my aunt for lunch. And NONE on the way back either! Before I realized how my day would continue to unfold I had picked up a meal kit from Whole Foods for an simple dinner. What a perfect way to end this definitely NOT rough and rocky day. Whoa!

Well, I hope you all have a day where it is smooth sailing!!!

Feeling Lucky …

Today was a great day. I always get into the kitchen on St. Patrick’s Day, experimenting with new recipes. It is one of my absolute favorite things to do! But on top of that, my son George came home today for Spring Break. I was so excited to see him after two months, I could BURST! It was one of those days where I caught myself smiling a few times, knowing that life is good and that I’m pretty darn happy. This day and all it included left me feeling exactly how you should feel on St. Patrick’s Day.

Well, I hope you all have a day where you feel LUCKY!!!

Cutting it close …

Have you ever taken a chance and made some online purchases hoping that they arrived before you left town? I have and this time I topped my own personal level of KOOKY. I had marginal room for error but I did it anyway! And I not only ordered one item, I ordered FIVE. I don’t mean from the same retailer either. No folks, I ordered from FIVE different companies and only paid for expedited shipping for one item. If you were wondering, it was for a pair of boots that I couldn’t pick up anywhere within 100 miles of my house. HA! Anyway, as of this afternoon four of my five purchases have arrived. And the last time I checked my final package is scheduled for delivery for tomorrow! Whoa. By the skin of my teeth! I am super happy that this worked out for me. I know that I narrowly avoided a few problems for myself, and I will NEVER do this again!

Well, I hope you all have a day where you cut it close!!!

Lucky …

I am the first person to admit that I am not a math person. Correct that, I avoid anything with numbers like the plague. And trust me, it’s a good thing. My family thinks it’s hysterical because the second people start talking numbers my face goes blank. “MOM JUST CHECKED OUT.” Funny, sad and TRUE. Anyway, I mention all of this because I had a few exchanges and returns to do today at one of my favorite stores. I’ve literally been a loyal customer for about 15 years. And apparently, despite all the emails and mailers I get, I’ve NEVER been a part of their “club”. I don’t even know how it’s possible, but when the saleswoman checked, I wasn’t! So I immediately signed up and HOLY MOLY, did the numbers start flying. I got 50% off today, plus another 25%. There were some other percentages she threw out there too, but honestly, it was all a BIG blur. All I know is that I walked out feeling like I had won the clothing lottery. HA!

Well, I hope you all have a day where you feel LUCKY!!!

Pretty darn lucky …

Today I received a natural organic coconut oil mascara from Noix de Coco Beauty that I won on instagram … AND … I saved $3 on flights home for Thanksgiving for my big kids.

Well, I hope you all have a day where you feel pretty darn lucky!!!

Thanks, but no thanks …

I went to sleep last night completely exhausted. It was a LONG day. Then l had insomnia. PERFECT timing as usual (note sarcasm). I decided to finally give up on sleep at around 4:30 this morning. I should be happy I guess. I get more hours in my day to enjoy, right?!?! I should feel lucky. Sorta?

Well, I hope you all have a day where you completely understand the saying "thanks, but no thanks"!!!
