I don’t like to leave the house after December 23. My family will attest to this. We usually host Christmas Eve so this works. I much prefer being cozy at home than fighting crowds and traffic. But that means I have to have ALL my holiday shopping and errands done a day before. This is usually not difficult for me. But this year I have failed miserably! So much so that my family is rallying to help me get it all done. Sid even decided not to work at our shop today which is HUGE. This kid never misses work! And I appreciate her help even HUGE-ER.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you feel like playing HOOKY!!!
Between Thanksgiving, two kids coming home from college (then leaving again), traveling and Christmas shopping our home looks like fallout from a natural disaster!
Well, I hope you all have a day where your house doesn’t look like a tornado hit it!!!
Our home is officially decorated for both Thanksgiving and Christmas (minus our tree). AND tonight my family and I are off to see The Beast and His Beauty, a play that my cousin is performing in. Yay!
Well, I hope you all have such a fun day!!!
Four. Day. Holiday. Weekend. Friends and family. Party and fun. Eeeeeee!
Well, I hope you have a day that you are super duper excited!!!
It’s raining. It has been for the past day. I usually don’t like the rain unless I’m inside. It’s nice to watch, but I don’t ever really want it to touch me, HA! For some reason this rain has been unusually pleasant for me. Perhaps it’s that I feel like this type of weather goes along with Christmas. I’m not sure. But it’s cozy. And I actually don’t mind being out in it. Living in Southern California I know that the rain will soon be gone. Until then, I’ll just appreciate it and allow it to make our holidays feel … um … more holiday-ier.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you enjoy it while you can!!!
Holy moly. It’s only December 3rd and we have attended more Christmas events and planned more holiday outings than I can count. I love it!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you are in the Christmas spirit!!!
Tonight we watched Libs in her holiday musical. It was her first performance since trying out and making the vocal ensemble with her school. This child has always had a beautiful voice. And NO I’m not just saying that because I’m her mom. She has a gift and it’s down right amazing. As talented as she is, she was so nervous tonight, and it was precious. But at the end of the night you could see the pride in her face. Libs loves to sing, and I have to say, that there isn’t anything sweeter than seeing your child thrive like that.
Well, I hope you all had a day where you got to see someone do what they absolutely love!!!
