This is one of those TMI entries. I've been known to write a few. Heck, lets not forget that my first blog entry on WordPress was about an eye zit. Anyway, here goes.
I am not a big burp-er. I have always chalked it up to not being a soda drinker. And today, I am totally convinced of it.
Monday we visited Coca Cola World in Las Vegas. When we were there Libs wanted to do an international soda tasting. So we did and it was a lot of fun. Sorta. We were given 16 samples of soda from all over the world. Which is a pretty neat idea. Keep in mind, though, that I do not drink soda, so my experience was probably a little skewed. My take on the whole thing is that we might all live on the same small planet, but our tastes in soda preferences differs tremendously. And NOT in a good way. HA!
Anyway, my last run was before our soda tasting. So this morning I headed out for another run. Now, I have gagged a ton on my runs in the past. You just do when you push yourself like that. But today was a whole new ball of wax … um … gas. And I blame it on our quest to experience the world through soda consumption.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you burp and burp and burp and burp!!!
We have had a busy summer. It's been fun but we have been on the go since George's graduation day in June. It's honestly been a whirlwind. The past few days we have had at home we spent catching up on life. And by life I mean laundry, HA! Well, that was part of it anyway. But we also had even more running around to do. Ugh. Next week Sid is moving into her new house and George will be moving into his dorm. So we had lots of shopping and packing that needed to be done this week. Not to mention Libs and Reese! Luckily they have a few more weeks of summer left so I still have some time to get their back-to-school things in order. Thank. God.
Last night George and I finished the last of our errands to get him ready for college. I felt so relieved! So relieved that I think my body shut down when I went to sleep last night. I woke up in the same position I fell asleep in. Ouch. And I was rudely reminded by my body that I drank no water yesterday. How is that even possible?!?! Busy anxious mom-ness is how that is possible! Needless to say I was so dizzy when I woke up that I could hardly walk. I guess my body has had quite enough of this summer schedule and has decided it's time for me to rest. OK, fine … I'll reluctantly listen.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you aren't spinning!!!
We have a had great summer so far. It’s been very busy but incredibly fun. We still have a few more weeks before my crew goes back to school and last night we were trying to figure out what else we can still fit in before we run out of summer time. We already have quite a few things left on our calendar but I’m going to give it my best shot to squeeze even more in. Because let’s be honest, summer is the BEST! And making memories with the ones you love most is just straight up AWESOME!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you pack it all in!!!
Family. Summer. Fun. Love. Time. I can’t want for more!
Well, I hope you all are having a wonderful day!!!
Let it be known that a 7 year old who is on vacation, and spends all day riding rides and playing games at a beach amusement park, will have a restless night. Yup.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you are too excited to sleep!!!
Yesterday we saw Alaska from a race course. It was GORGEOUS! And it FED the runner in all of us. We runners LOVE to see the sights of new places via races. I know it sounds weird but it really is an amazing way to explore when you are traveling. This morning we venture out on water. We are going to see Alaska by ship. I can’t wait! Um. I guess today we feed the inner pirate in all of us. HA!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you say AHOY MATEY!!!
So far Alaska has been fun and relaxing. I have been spending time with some dear friends eating, shopping, talking and hanging out. I even took a nap in the grass! It’s exactly what I’ve needed.
Well, I hope you all have day that feeds your soul!!!
