From Anaheim to Burbank, I was having fun today. This morning Reese wanted to ride a few rides at Disneyland so we started there first. I am thankful to live so close to the park and to have annual passes because Reese can only handle a few hours there before it becomes overwhelming. Heck, me too. HA! Anyway, later I was blessed to spend time with some great friends. We live pretty far apart from each other so we found a middle ground that allows us to meet pretty easily. In Southern California this is quite a feat! Needless to say, I don’t have many days like this, but when I do they are super fun!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you roam from here to there!!!
This morning my headband started to slip off of my head onto my forehead. Being who I am, I adjusted it so it sat going across my whole forehead. I looked at Libs and said, “I’m a Ninja Mom. A MOM-JA!” She was not impressed. Not. At. All. So I decided to age-it-up a little and said, “Fine, then I look like Olivia Newton John in Xanadu.” That completely backfired on me because Libs had absolutely no clue who I was talking about. OUCH. Then I just felt old and gave up. BIG SIGH. Libs is my third child and has heard all of my goofy jokes before. She’s also incredibly bright and she’s a comedian in her own right. I think this all leaves me with only one option. I need to “up my game” in humor department. God knows where this will take us. But I bet it’s going to be fun.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you come up with some new material!!!
Three days into our Spring Break and I can say that it’s already been a ton of fun. It’s been wonderful hanging out with my sweet girls and spending time with our family … with NO time constraints. We have spent our days doing everything and nothing, HA! Normal bedtimes are out the window. Routines, ditched. Sleeping in, a must. Laughter and laziness, a given. I absolutely LOVE IT!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you get exactly what you needed!!!
We had such a great day with the people we love!
Well, I hope you all had a day where you had some family fun!!!
I realize I’m a mom now and that I’m almost 50 years old but there is an excitement that still comes over me this time of year. It’s wonderful to get a breather from school and our normal routine to relax and just go have some FUN! OK, OK fine … perhaps the fond memories of college still rear their notorious little heads. HA!
Well, I hope you all get to start SPRING FREAKIN’ BREAK!!!
I love the extra busyness that consumes my life around holidays and school breaks. Coordinating everything is so much fun!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you plan your heart out!!!
An award ceremony. A boysenberry festival. And my son comes home for Spring Break tonight.
Well, I hope you all have a fun-filled day!!!
