I recently read about the benefits of putting peppermint oil into your water before a run. Well, I have also recently immersed myself and my family (and anyone else who will listen, HA!) into essential oil world. I’m absolutely loving it and feel the need to tell EVERYONE about it. So being that I am now an “oily” person and I am also a runner, I just had to try peppermint in my water. The only problem I had was that I don’t normally drink a lot of water before I run, so I decided that I would try it after my run today. But I accidentally put three drops of peppermint oil into my water instead of just the half to one drop that was recommended. I figured I could handle it. Oh, my. OH. MY. It definitely woke my senses! Next time I’ll be sure to use the recommended amount.
