The heebie jeebies …

Soooooo I found a snake in our backyard this morning. We have never had a snake back there before. I screamed. My neighbors didn’t come running so it must not have been as blood-curdling as I thought. I know this may come as a shock to all of you (not), but I can be a little dramatic. But let me tell you, this snake was HUGE. Well. Huge to me. And I’m pretty much never going into our backyard again. Nope. Can’t make me.

Well, I hope you all have a day where you don’t have the heebie jeebies!!!

The hard way …

No matter how much you my try to help someone, they may never hear what you have to say. Your intentions can be noble, kind and good-hearted. But they may not see it that way. And sadly, whether it’s because of arrogance, disbelief or stubbornness, it’s bound to be bumpy road they are headed down. All you can do … is try.

Well, I hope you all have a day where you don’t choose the hard way!!!

Unsettled …

Maybe I’m just a really anxious person, but I don’t think I’ll ever get used to being a passenger in a car where my child is the driver. Being driven around by a person who I personally fastened into their infant car seat and carrier is just a little freaky in my opinion.

Well, I hope you all have a day where you don’t feel unsettled!!!

Purged …

Why is cleaning out your house so therapeutic? I usually clear out unused or out-grown items twice a year. Once in the Fall and again in the Spring. Unfortunately last year I had just began my massive project when I got sick. Good grief! I have felt so out of wack because of it too. Like things have remained undone. Well, I am happy to say that over the past two days I’ve been back at it! And it feels WONDERFUL!

Well, I hope you all have a day where you feel purged!!!

World Down Syndrome Day …

Happy World Down Syndrome Day everyone! Down Syndrome is caused by the triplication of the 21st chromosome. That is why today, March 21st (3/21) was chosen as this global day of awareness. Pretty cool, huh?!?! Anyway, you all know that my youngest daughter, Reese, has Down Syndrome. This child is a GIFT! She is the sparkle in my eye. The smile on my face. The determination in my soul. And the joy in my heart! She teaches me every day to slow down and enjoy the moment. She is my fountain of youth! Today I celebrate her and others with Down Syndrome all over the world!

Well, I hope you all have a day where you love someone with extra parts!!!
