I absolutely LOVE dressing up and dressing up my kids! If the act of decorating people isn’t the most fun there is to have out there, I just don’t know what is. And today we can be whatever the heck we want! Yippie!
Well, I hope you all have a Happy Halloween!!!
It’s a miracle. After the last month of craziness I can happily say that I feel like I’m finally functioning normally. Well, as normally as I can be, HA! And with Halloween tomorrow and the Down Syndrome Association’s Buddy Walk on Sunday I have nothing but fun on my mind.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you are looking forward to a GREAT weekend!!!
Ever have a day where every experience you had at a retailer made you question the future of humanity? Well, I have. And today was that day.
I had more bad customer service encounters today than I have had in a very long time. Including, but not limited to, being shamed for giving a cashier a large bill for a $5 purchase. Then having her yell to the customers behind me that “SHE shut down my lane”. Really cashier lady??? Did I mention that she also short changed me by $10? Ugh. Luckily I caught it before I walked away, because I wasn’t about to pay extra for that spectacle!
Oh and let me tell you about the purchase return I did. The cashier at that store tried to convince me that my new purchases and my returned purchases “equalled out”. Um no honey, not by a long shot. Now, give me my darn money. And she did.
Well, I hope you all had a day where you avoided the idiots!!!
I fell asleep randomly twice today. Holy moly, that never happens to me. But I was pooped. In less than one month’s time I took two mini trips, ran a marathon and had a sick child home for almost two weeks. I guess that will knock you out a little. Who knew!?!? HA!
Well, I hope you all have a day where you can keep your eyes open!!!
Why is it that taking a long weekend away requires SO MUCH time to get a handle on things when you get back? Ugh.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you catch up!
I think that road trips are fun! I enjoy both getting to my destination and then going home again. Except for one part.
Well, I hope you all had a day where your butt didn’t fall asleep!!!
I have said before the every time I have come to San Francisco something wonderful seems to happen in my life. Not just wonderful, but life changing. It’s a “dreams come true” kind of place for me. Now don’t get me wrong, many people feel this place is quite special. I am definitely not alone in my feelings on this one. But for me it is beyond the beauty and the history you find here. It’s a feeling and an energy that I don’t quite understand. But it certainly makes me keep wanting to come back.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you feel like anything is possible!!!
It’s been almost 2 months since I have spent time with all four of my kids at one time. I can’t tell you how much I have missed it. But today we were all together again. We spent a fun day roaming San Francisco and enjoying one another’s company. And although it feels as though everything has changed there was still a part of US that remains untouched by time and circumstance. We are still US when we are together … and it is beautiful.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you have a happy heart!!!
Today is Sidney’s 18th birthday. Now I can go into how time flies and you shouldn’t blink because before you know it your child is grown, but I’m not going to. I am just too darn excited! Because later today we are headed to the Bay Area to see her! It has been almost two months since I held her hand and hugged her tight. I am absolutely thrilled knowing that I will soon be spending time with her. I have missed her so very much.
Well, I hope you all have a day where you just can’t wait!!!
